Bought some Chomps for an overnighter to the mountains. Had lunch here on St Patty's Day. Recommend the Reverend Rundle Stout HIGHLY. Robin loved the Brewer's Oar Bitter. And the Buffalo Boneless Chicken Caesar Salad is not to be missed! Great food, great service, great atmosphere!

I took a friend here for lunch on a recommendation. The Banff Old Spaghetti Factory is on the second floor of the Cascade Plaza. I was really surprised with how much selection there was on the menu. I had no idea you could get this much value for your money in Banff. I had the Seafood Fettuccine Alfredo and my friend had the Chicken Pesto Pasta. We both enjoyed the food very much. It came with fresh baked bread to start and also included a starter salad, coffee and ice cream at no extra cost! The owner of the restaurant actually came up and asked us how everything was going and our server was really great. I'm a Banff local and I will be coming back here again. This would be a great place to bring a family since there's so much room and the prices are so great. The only issue I had was that I could not finish my food! That was O.K. because we took the rest home.

We were in canmore for a girls weekend away, and decided to go here for dinner. We arrived at 4:45, but apparently they don't open for dinner until 5. In -40 degree weather, we asked if we could just step in until they opened, but they refused, so we had to wait outside. When we did go in, they sat us right by they door, after we asked them to give us a seat furhter in, so that we didn't freeze everytime the door opened, they also refused, saying all of their tables were going to be booked (which they weren't). When we put our order in, one of my friends in my party, asked the waitress about a certain dish (Southwestern Polenta or something like that), she highly recommended it, and so it was ordered. When our meals came that certain dish was absolutely terrible, and such a tiny portion- about the size of half my palm. It also had no flavour at all! We asked if she could possibly return it to the chef and ask if he could add some spice, at which the waitress asked: what do you want him to add?? Umm, he's the professional, have him use his judgement. So, she came back with the dish and said that he couldn't add anything. So my friend asked her if she could at least take off the price of the dish, since she wasnt going to eat it. The waitress also refused this, and said that she couldn't do anything about a dish that a customer didn't like. My friend then asked if she could order another dish, and the waitress said yes. She took her second order, and came back saying she had decided that she would just have to pay 50% of the original dish. My friend then said: Ok, I don't want my second dish anymore then, just pack up the first dish, and someone will eat it. A few minutes later, the waitress returned with the second dish, and rudely handed it to her. At this point, we were all in shock as to how rude and unaccomodating the waitress was being. I called her back and it was explained to her, that my friend didnt want the second dish as she had explained to her before. So the waitress rudely grabbed the plate and stormed off. We asked her to bring our bill, and lo and behold, my friends bill was the full price of the first dish. When she asked the waitress if she only had to pay half of that amount, the waitress said: That's not what we agreed upon!! We were all in shock as to how we were being treated, so my friend who was very upset at this point started saying how this had been the worst customer service she had ever received, and had never felt like this in a restaurant before. The waitress then said: I'm not dealing with this!! And stormed off. Needless to say, this totally ruined our night. I would not recommend this to anyone at all

I had the Rib Eye(it was perfectly med-rare) & my wife had the back ribs(she loved them) we also had a baked potato and the asparagus(crisp & hot with parmesan sprinkles). The place was full of people and smiles (including the dishwasher, who I saw thru the kitchen curtain) and everything was still great. You expect a little less in a busier place but the staff here were jamin'. Great job - keep doin' what your doin'

This place has great pizza! It is on the upper level and a bit hard to find but worth a visit with the family.

I love the burgers here! They are gourmet! This is a quaint little bar and grill worth the visit.

This is my favorite pub in town! The food is great and the atmophere is warm, rustic and relaxing! I love the wood burning fireplace!!

I love this restaurant. It is one of my favorite spots in town! I mainly go to the pub and always order the dried ribs as an appitizer! They are to die for! They have a warm cozy atmosphere with a fireplace.

This is a great pub with great food! This is a more classy style pub with a relaxed atmosphere! The cask brewed beer is fantastic!

Decent Thai food, not the best but would go back for more.

Very relaxed, you could tell our meal was homemade. Great spot, the server said it was locally owned and operated, nice to know! Unique and friendly.

It's about time Banff had it's own Brew Pub! I really enjoy the Jasper Brewing Company which is owned by the same folks. They really set the bar with the new Banff Ave Brewing Co. They had 5 home brews on tap; sadly I could only try 2 of them, but they were really great! The Pilsner was clear and fresh, perfect for the patio. My favorite however was the IPA. Full bodied with a really distinctive flavor. The menu was original and innovative in it's own way. I had a Bacon Cheese Burger. The wasabi mayo made me wonder why I hadn't had this before. Really distinctive. I had the house salad as a side. The balsamic dressing was real, and tasted very fresh. I can't wait to go back and try the other beers! On a final note, the hostess remembered my name the entire time I was there and my bartender Isaac was really knowledgable about the different beers.

Everything on the menu here is superb. Still, my favorite thing on the menu is the seafood tower. It is three tiers of seafood heaven! There's lobster, crab, mussels, oysters, shrimp, clams piled so high it's hard to finish. I'd suggest sharing this one. I'm from Nova Scotia and I'm picky about seafood but this was fresh, tasty, and well prepared.

Definately one of our favorite places to go out to eat in Banff. Probably the best Calimari I've had for sure. The lower lounge is a great place to chill and eat a great burger or whatever. If you are solo the bar is a great place to pull up, eat, drink and have some conversation. Upstairs is great for steak with a mountain atmosphere that is somehow modern. My fiance doesn't drink, but she loves the lounge. There's something for everybody here. I was personally surprised by the wine selection considering it's a steakhouse. Then again, what do I know? One thing that keeps me comming back is the staff. Really genuine and seemingly effortless service. I love the Lik!

I ate at the Maple Leaf about 4 years ago, but I still remember how incredible the food, wine, and dessert was. They serve the classic Canadian meats such as bison, elk, and good old Alberta beef. The service was great, and I remember how much I loved the creme brulee. It's one of the pricier restaurants, but worth the splurge.

This is where to go for the late night munchies after a couple of beverages! Great meeting spot and good pizza.

I'm not from Japan, but this is one of the best places that I have ever had Japanese food. They really know their stuff. I love the chicken kushiage and this is the first place that I tried Miso soup. Very good!

Made in Canada.
