Halo

Halo is fantastic! Service is always amazing and the food is wonderful. The menu has something for everyone, and their lemon roasted potatoes keep you coming back. It is our tried and true date night spot, and we will continue to come back as long as it's around.

We picked this restaurant because it has been highly reviewed and is close to home. Great atmosphere and staff. We waited awhile for our food because of a wedding but that was ok. Had the baby yorkies as an appetizer. It was good. I had the monk lasagna which wasn't anything special, it had good sauce but I didn't like the celery or the fact that the ingredients were so uneven throughout. My husband had the chicken fettucine. It was ok but boring. All in all, good staff and decor but food not worth the price. Our bill with 2 drinks each was almost $100 before tip. We could have gone to Red Water for $20 more. We will give this place a second shot and see how it goes.

I went to Halo on a friends recomendation and it was the best steak I have had in years. The filet au gratin. Wrapped in bacon, smothered in melted blue cheese...omg....I cant believe how good it was. Lovely decor, and friendly staff, hidden gem in southern Calgary!! I w be back!!!!

I unexpectantly had a catering at work and Halo was the caterer. The food was hot, flavorful and satisfying. I love that some of the food was gluten free! Way to go Halo!
