Open Range is a unique Calgary steak and chop house. We embody the essence of our city; cutting edge, but comfortable and unpretentious. Open Range mixes modern with tradition, serving every cut you would expect but preparing them with interesting variations of flavours. Long time Calgary Chef Dwayne Ennest offers locally raised beef, elk, bison and game prepared in an easy going Southwestern style.
To further the experience, our wine list presents some interesting selections that are often lesser known and from smaller producers. The wine cellar is on display in one of the private dining rooms where guests can admire the great collection.
The ambience is western elegance, elements include rustic wooden tables, black table cloths and large fireplaces that cast their glow throughout the rooms.

We have frequented Open Range a number of times with friends and family and so we decided to have our Wedding dinner there to keep with our Western Wedding theme. We and our guests enjoyed our excellent meals from the range or the sea. Good value...
