Notable has a unique feature of being able to order most dishes as either a full meal or an appetizer, so we ordered about five "appetizers" and tried a large portion of the menu!

One of the worst dining experiences I have ever come across. Service was slow and when questioned about it the server immediately blamed it on the kitchen. When asked to speak with management they were "too busy" to solve our problems, we were sitting by the host desk and it was obvious the manager was preoccupied with his cellphone. Our server seemed to only have a moments with us and whenever they came around it was fleeting and seemed more of a chore. There were so few servers on for a Saturday night for such a large restaurant, you would think that a restaurant of this size would have more staff for such a busy night. The hassle was not worth the sub par food.

Gourmet casual is how this restaurant is being described and it is definitely both of those things. The food is outstanding and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. I've been for lunch and dinner and can't wait to try their Sunday brunch menu. My fave so far is the crab and shrimp appetizer, I could eat an entire bowl of that on it own. One thing I do want to point out is that it is located in the community of Montgomery not Bowness as stated above, just a little pet peeve of mine as I'm from the "hood". Notable is sure to become a favourite restaurant for many in Calgary.

I came across this place about a year ago. I randomly walked in, enticed by the "Montreal Smoked Meat" sign outside. I was pleasantly surprised by not only the food, but the decor and the staff.
The restaurant is tastefully decorated. It's not over the top like other retro diners tend to be. The woodworking is worth the trip alone.
The staff are always very friendly, they are often chatting with customers when not serving someone.
Now the food... Like other establishments in Calgary owned by the same person, the menu isn't large, and it doesn't need to be. They seem to live by the motto of "do one thing, and do one thing right". At POE, they do Montreal smoked meat, and they do it right. You are invited to choose from a nice selection of mustards to add to your pile of meat. The meal comes with some Old Dutch chips and a small container of slaw (not mayo based, so thumbs up from me). Although chips and slaw don't seem like a great side, they allow to focus on the great sandwich you are about to enjoy.
I highly recommend Palace of Eats, you won't regret it.

Great atmosphere inside and out. Good parking. Friendly staff. Quiet on a weekday night, when I went.

And then the food came! I haven't had a lot of Indian food, but I am left craving more!

Also, very good for vegetarians!

I have a been there twice and both times my company and I could not choose what to get since it all sounded so good.

The food is very different, something to try for sure; asian inspired dishes with a Canadian twist.

As a vegetarian it was refreshing to look at a menu and know that I could order any of it.

Last year I went to Thailand and ate their food every day. Since then, I have been searching for a restaurant that with satisfy my Thai food cravings.
This is that restaurant!

The panang curry is hot but with a sweet after taste.
Crunchy spring rolls.
Perfect pad thai.
Great prices.

The restaurant is small but they make the most of it.
I will definitely be returning!

Muldoons has always been one of our favorite pubs to go to. They have entertainment on the weekends and the service is awesome.
The atmosphere is very inviting (not a cement floor with ugly tables and chairs) and everyone treats you like family.
We always enjoy the calamari, mussels and of course the beef barley soup! They have introduced different flavors of wings as well -- we especially like the suicide and jamaican jerk flavors!!

The drinks are good, and the service is usually pretty good. For food, expect a little less than the average pub fare. It will be on the greasy side, and pretty unoriginal. A good place to hang out and drink, but the food is just ok.

You can take me to the Casbah anytime you want! We took my parents here for their birthdays and everyone loved their food. My husband ordered the 'Tour of Morocco', which includes an appetizer, salad, main dish, and dessert. I tasted everyone's food and it was all so good. The service was also excellent. We got very individual attention from the owner as she explained various menu items. She also washed our hands before the meal with warm rosewater. I plan to go back here all the time. The decor is lovely, and every table seems to be very private. The Casbah is now one of my favorite Calgary restaurants.

What a charming restaurant! It's the perfect place to walk around and enjoy a nice, light lunch. We ordered some delicious salads, though there were also some more hefty lunch items on the menu. Great service, great atmosphere (love the hanging flower baskets on the wraparound porch!), great food.

Seems like Calgary's best-kept secret. Two friends and I made a meal out of the appetizers, the food was excellent, and since the place was empty, the chef invented a dessert just for us. I don't think it will be empty for long!

CharissaandJuan.jpgI love how at Caffe Crema the staff don't rush me out, and I am able to relax there. They have a used book shelf and activities every night of the week. I really appreciate that they obviously love the community and constantly are improving due to what the community is looking for

First time eating here - kind of a small joint, make a reservation beforehand. Had the quiche and nicoise salad (the dressing was fantastic the quiche was decent - very garlicky and hand a bit too many mushrooms for me) overall, great place to dine on a budget! lattes are fabulous too. 2 meals 1 latte and desert all under 40$.

Went to Divino the first time during lunch hour - make a reservation, this place gets busy. Seating is a bit small - not suggested for a big crowd. Server was great, very attentive. A bit pricey for the meal (got their green salad and it was 15$)

Setting aside the price I really enjoyed the meal and the atmosphere was nice to be in during lunch. Appetizers were nice too, the olivers and pomme frittes were great! Cooked the scallops great and had a good menu variety

I would suggest Divino for any lunch occasion - haven't tried any dinners.

I have enjoyed this restaurant franchise in many of its locations across Canada. The food from my experience has been wonderful. I was however extremely unimpressed with the Northland location. Our food was not even close to the normal standard of the rest of the franchise and worst of all, we found a large amount of MUD in the fruit served with our meal. When we casually brought this up with management, the manager/owner of this location (Rachel) extremely inappropriately dealt with our concern, and belittled it. I work in the field of public health and have had experience working in the restaurant business. It is beyond inappropriate to be serving potentially E. coli infected food to customers, and worst of all, act with complete disrespect to your customers when concern is expressed.

I will continue to enjoy Cora's food, but never again at this location.
