I've been visiting Pegasus since 1981 and have NEVER been disappointed. We usually have the hot appy platter which is fantastic and includes awesome spanokopita, the best calamari in town (in my opinion!), and fabulous homemade pita bread. It's not a modern place if you're looking for that but the atmosphere transports me to Greece - especially when the Greek band is in-house and the belly-dancers are around. Love it.

I'm pretty sure everyone in the know must know about this place? The patio is gorgeous - a fireplace, heat lamps, and a decidedly Tuscan feel make it so popular that they won't even let you have a reservation for it. However, there is one section that isn't heated and that's where we were seated even though we were there way before many other (possibly regular?) diners. As for the food, my friend had the ravioli and proclaimed it to be the best she'd ever eaten. I had the mussels and they were pretty good too (not outstanding but good). The service was wonderful if a just a bit over the top. I'd definitely go again but ONLY if I were seated in the good section of the patio.

If you like olde world stuff and antiques this is the place for you. Dim lights, red curtains, antique furniture, and Billie Holiday all combine to make this a lovely romantic experience. The first time we went we ordered the special - a roasted, cheese-stuffed chicken breast paired with garlic mashed potatoes and we both loved it. The service is great - no complaints whatsoever. A definite thumbs up all-round.
