This is a great pub with great food! This is a more classy style pub with a relaxed atmosphere! The cask brewed beer is fantastic!

I love the German cottage style atmophere at this unique restaurant! I often go for appatizers and drinks to soak up the atmosphere especially in the pub. Definitely worth checking out!!

This place has THE BEST pizza I have ever had! The thick homemade crust, zesty tomato sauce (I believe it has hint of mint as the secret ingredient), loads of cheese, and the wonderfully generous topping portions is to die for! They have a great 50% off special on Mondays after 4pm, I believe. You have got to try this pizza! This place is rocking on the weekends with great music, lots of locals and a very lively atmosphere!

This is an old house turned into a coffee shop & gift boutique. They sell some very unique gifts here! Their homemade muffins and carrot cake are fantastic and they have the best coffee! Their tables are antique which adds to a warm at home feeling. It is disappointing that the new chairs they purchased don't fit with the decor! The outside garden at the back is very nice on a warm summer day!

This cafe has a casual relaxing atmosphere with comfy couches! It is a family run cafe with a selection of light breakfast and lunch meals as well. It is a nice hangout for the locals in the neighborhood. They have some unusual hours though. So, check them out when you get there so that you are not disappointed if your coffee experience is cut shorter than expected.

This is such a cool restaurant! Moroccan cushions, pillows, carpets, and traditional furnishings create a unique atmosphere at this restaurant! The food is wonderfully flavorful. To get the full experience offered I recommend trying something from each course! Oh, and the fun part is you can eat with your hands! This place usually requires a reservation at least a week in advance for Friday and Saturday dining. There are not too many restaurants like this in Calgary!!

This is a great place for traditional and Canadian Chinese dishes! Their salt and pepper squid and ginger beef/chicken are fantastic. It is nice to try the variety of traditional deserts (really they are like soups) they bring after the meal. So far, this is my favorite Chinese restaurant in the city and I often take my out of town family there for dinner.

This is an old character home near the Bow River. It is a pretty nice place! Large beautiful windows add to the atmosphere. I have only been there for brunch and it was great.

I love Chinese food and have been to many great restaurants. This place did not meet my food expectations.

I went here for my Birthday a few years ago because I heard they offered a free dinner for the birthday person. I can't say if they still offer this but truthfully it wasn't a great deal after all as the choices (off a separate menu) were very limited and the food was pretty average.
