Gluten Free!

This was the one and only time in my 33 years that I got to literally break bread with my friends-Redwater has Kinnickinnick Gluten-Free flatbread to enjoy prior to the meal! It was so nice not to have to sit and drool while everyone else was noshing on bread and tasty butter.
Service (Tara???) was great, too-accomodating, knowledgable and efficient-not invading our space, but being on-hand when needed! All of our dishes came out fast, hot, and delicious.
Definitely will be a go-to for meals out from now on.

Don't bother

Hands down the worst service in Calgary. We were seated and waited 15 minutes before we were acknowledged and served water. Another 10 before our order was taken. Food was mediocre. A total waste of time and money.
Good food, groovy ambiance

Appetizer of Beef Carpaccio was AMAZING. The best I've ever had. Service was a bit slow off the start, but improved as the night went on. Reasonably priced menu and wine list. Some dishes were a bit unexpected... the shrimp ball explosion to be specific... but all in all a great dinner! (And we're a pretty picky crew, so that's saying a LOT). And all 5 of us had to take a tour of the ladies room to check out the coolest sink/taps we'd ever seen :)
interesting

While we found that the tables were not spaced apart very well... a little too intimate for our liking, the general atmosphere was groovy. Food was delicious (the pork belly was sooooo fantastic, I may be going back for that alone.) Enormous wine list, with 2 oz "taste" pours available-this is by far the greatest idea in the universe- tasting 10 wines wouldn't be out of the question in an evening. Karen, the sommelier, is knowledgable and personable, and the serving staff seem to enjoy where they are working, so not too hard to enjoy yourself here!
