The service ranges between great and decent, we have never been disappointed but never been "WOW'd" either. The mushroom soup is to die for, I would highly recommend it. Their wine list is also quite affordable and most of their wines are under 50$ which I find to be cheaper than most restaurants of its class.

Most of the steak on the menu is Angus Beef from America, but what was nice about the Ruth's here they had an Alberta Beef Choices too. The appetizers were fantastic and so was the wine that the waitress recommended.
The steak was good and was cooked perfect but lacked the flavor I am used to with Alberta beef, also the sides were quite tasteless. Its a nice place to go for a romantic dinner.

I have visted Redwater in the South many times and it has always gone over and above my expectations. The service is always great and the Sommelier always shows me the most beautiful wines with my dinner. Their menu is also Gluten free for peopler who have Celiac Disease. I recommend the Jumbo Prawn Appetizer it is so amazing, you will want to skip your entree and order another.

Broken Plate has recently done renovations and the place looks updated neat and clean. All the appetizers are amazing and I recommend trying them all, my favorite is the lemon rice soup. When we were their on Saturday there was even some entertainment with the staff dancing traditional dance around the restaurant. Great place, be sure to make reservations as the waits can sometimes be a little long

Please if you go to Halo try the Ceasar's. I go their specifically for these. The owner has created his on recipe and it is to die for.
