Antique Row is a collection of Victoria’s finest second-hand shops all in one convenient location. Bastion Square

Located on the former site of Fort Victoria, Bastion Square offers a wide scenic view of the Inner Harbour and a variety of small shops and restaurants to choose from. Bastion Square is a large pedestrian zone in the middle of the downtown core, outdoor seating is available on many of the various café patios, where you can sit, sip, and enjoy the view of heritage buildings and float planes coming and going.
Chinatown

Victoria’s Chinatown, though small, has a long and colourful history. The oldest Chinatown in Canada, most of the buildings date back to the 1800’s. These buildings, with tiny old alleys, cobblestone paths, and neon signs are an interesting mix of the old with the new. Chinatown is home to many restaurants and open-air groceries and the air is always perfumed with the smell of delicious fare.
Cook Street Village

Cook St Village is located at the foot of Cook Street, a few blocks from Mile 0 and the Dallas Road cliffs. The Village has pedestrian friendly streets, a small town atmosphere, and is known for being quite bohemian - it's full of interesting young people, chilling out and drinking coffee at one of the many cafes, or heading to Beacon Hill Park, which divides the Village from James Bay.
Estevan Village

Estevan Village is a hidden Oak Bay gem, a few blocks up from the ocean, where the sea breeze mingles with the smell of Victoria’s best fish and chips. In the summer, hungry sunbathers make their pilgrimage from Willows Beach to wait in line for newspaper-wrapped delights. Though very small in area, Estevan Village has its own distinct character - a mix of quirky, upper-class shops and restaurants that are a pleasure to stroll through.
Government Street

The cobblestone walk of Government Street is Victoria’s main tourist strip. Commencing at the Legislature Building in the inner harbor, walk along the cobblestone streets lined with heritage buildings and hanging baskets to experience Victoria’s scenic charm. Here you will find Victoria’s most famous restaurants, shops, and architecture, including the renowned Empress Hotel and Roger’s Chocolates.
James Bay

James Bay is located between Victoria's Inner Harbour, Beacon Hill Park, and the ocean. The charming community of James Bay is the oldest neighbourhood in Victoria, and as such, James Bay still boasts many pristine older residences that have retained their original Victorian splendour, many of which were owned by the original settlers of the Victoria area. James Bay incorporates the area south of the Inner Harbour to Dallas Road, and includes the BC Legislative Buildings, Fisherman's Wharf, the Cruise Ship Terminal, and Ogden Point. The northern boundary of James Bay is the waterfront along the Inner Harbour, which boasts many of the most prestigious hotels and restaurants in Victoria.
Lower Yates

Commonly referred to as ‘Old Town,’ Lower Yates is located in the heart of Victoria’s shopping and entertainment district. Many of the heritage buildings have recently been restored with multi-million dollar upgrades, and the new condos and boutiques add a gentrified air to the area. One block from the ocean and located between Lower Johnson, Victoria’s trendiest shopping locale, and Bastion Square, Lower Yates is prime dining real estate.
Oak Bay Village

Oak Bay, an attractive and upscale residential neighborhood rooted in British tradition, has a distinctive slow pace and genteel flavor. Oak Bay Village is a strip along the Avenue which is the area’s most popular shopping promenade. Here you will find locals and tourists strolling past antique shops, art galleries, pubs, restaurants, bookshops, and ubiquitous tea rooms
